Producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s home and office in Mumbai were raided by the Income Tax department on the morning of December 8. The raid is expected to continue till Wednesday.
According to reliable sources, cast and crew members close to Sajid’s latest film Tamasha are also on the radar of IT department. Tamasha actor Ranbir Kapoor may also be questioned.
Sajid’s production house has been going through an uninterrupted streak of box office success with films like the Salman Khan starrer Kick and Imtiaz Ali’s experimental Highway proving to be huge money earners.
Ironically, the IT raid has happened at a time when Nadiadwala’s least unsuccessful film Tamasha is in the theatres.
