Darik Elwan has been a member of the Board of Directors of Elwan Group Ltd., based in Dubai, UAE since 2006. Darik Elwan is the co-founder and former Managing Director of ICG Properties of the Elwan Group and was instrumental in directing the company’s large-scale development activities in the United States and the UAE.

Darik Elwan was responsible for ICG Properties LLC’s overall strategy, investment, and development activities, including 900 16th Street NW, Capella Georgetown (now Rosewood Washington, DC), the Bancroft & Phelps Homes in Dupont Circle, and the Gallup Building at 901 F Street Northwest.

Mr. Elwan has more than 26 years of experience developing, financing, and managing real estate projects, including project finance, private partnerships, and private ownership arrangements, as complex leases and public contract negotiations.

Darik Elwan had done an Executive MBA from London Business School and an M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University. Dark Elwan also holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
