Two Varanasi cops have been suspended get-togethers lady, who had blamed BSP’s Ghosi MP Atul Rai for assaulting her, set herself burning alongside her male companion under the watchful eye of the Supreme Court in New Delhi early this week, an authority said on Wednesday.
The suspended police authorities included SHO Rakesh Singh of the Varanasi Cann police headquarters and examination official Girija Shankar, testing an instance of fraud against the assault casualty, police said in a proclamation.
A lady from UP’s Ghazipur had stopped a grievance with the Lanka police headquarters in Varanasi in 2019, blaming BSP MP Rai for assaulting her.
She had affirmed that Rai had assaulted her in his level in the Lanka space of Varanasi and had likewise shot a video of the demonstration. Rai is under legal care for this situation.
